Privacy & email preferences

DOZER Weightlifting IQ is a weightlifting knowledge quiz operated under the DOZER Weightlifting brand. This notice describes the quiz and its email-signup service, not other DOZER products.

Taking the quiz

You can answer the quiz questions before signing up. To unlock your score, knowledge tier, answer review and downloadable card, you must provide your email address and submit the promotional signup form. Results are revealed after the service accepts your score email for sending. Your browser holds the current attempt in memory; refreshing or leaving clears that progress.

Requesting your emailed score card

The “Join the list & email my score” button signs you up for DOZER promotional emails, including weightlifting tips, new products and offers, and requests your results email. Signup is required both to see your results on the site and to receive your emailed card. Providing an address does not verify that you own its inbox. Existing unsubscribe preferences are respected.

We collect your email address, optional name or handle, latest quiz score and tier, and whether the result is a full test or practice round. We keep the signup wording, its version and the request time as a record of consent. Submitted answers are processed to calculate your result and prepare the email recap.

Delivery and security information

We use Resend for email delivery, Neon for contact and signup records, and Vercel for the intended public site's hosting. Email content includes your score card and answer recap, so that information is processed by the email service. The site also loads fonts from Fontshare; font requests disclose connection information to that service.

To limit abuse and duplicate sends, the service processes connection IP addresses and stores hashed IP values, request identifiers, timestamps, delivery identifiers and request status. Hosting and delivery providers may process operational logs. We use these records to operate the service, troubleshoot problems and protect the signup form.

Marketing preferences

You can withdraw from the DOZER IQ promotional list using the unsubscribe link in public-site emails or by emailing dylan@dozerweightlifting.com. Unsubscribing does not prevent you from taking the quiz. We retain unsubscribe records to help honor your preference, and existing contacts who did not opt in are not automatically subscribed.

Retention and requests

We retain signup and result records while needed to operate the contact list and respond to requests. Suppression and consent records may be retained to document and honor your preferences. To request access, correction or deletion of your information, contact the email address below; we may ask for information needed to verify your request.
